As an insurance broker you will use your in-depth knowledge of the insurance market to find and arrange suitable insurance policies for your clients.
You will act as an intermediary between your clients who can either be individuals, farmers, commercial businesses, organizations and insurance companies and will offer products from more than one insurer to ensure that your clients get the best cover.
Duties and Responsibilities
Building and maintaining business relationships with clients
Scheduling and attending meetings with clients
Discussing and assessing clients current and future insurance needs
Researching insurance policies and products
Arranging life insurance cover for clients with the insurance provider
Servicing of all clients in line with FAIS requirements
Representing VKB Brokers in a professional manner
Applicable degree will be an advantage
At least 5 year’s work experience in a similar environment
Relevant life insurance qualifications
Financial Services/Health Industry knowledge
Sound understanding of the agricultural sector will be an advantage
Driver’s License and own vehicle
